The game between Louisville and Gwinnett was rained out.  Since it was their last meeting of the year, the game will not be rescheduled.

Devin Mesoraco went 2-4 with a run scored and a walk.  On the season with Carolina, Devin is batting .301/.356/.601 with 10 homeruns and 22 RBI in 143 at-bats.  On the season with Lynchburg and Carolina, Devin is batting .319/.387/.611 with 20 homeruns and 53 RBI.
Tom Cochran allowed 8 runs in the 2nd inning, but only 2 were earned.  Cochran only lasted 2 innings, surrendering 6 hits, 1 walk, 3 homeruns, while striking out 1.  His record dropped to 7-5.  Bradley Boxberger did little to stop the bleeding as he allowed 3 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks in 1.1 innings pitched.  Boxberger has allowed at least 1 run in his last 9 appearances (maybe longer but milb.com only shows his last 9 appearances.)
High A
Richburg hit his 1st homerun of the season with Lynchburg (15th overall) and was joined by Neftali Soto (15th), Denis Phipps (7th), and Shane Carlson (2nd) in the homerun column.  Soto led the team with 3 RBI in the game.
James Avery improved to 6-3 on the season with the win.  Avery allowed 4 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks in 6.1 innings pitched.  Donnie Joseph struck out the side in the 9th for his 11th save with the Hillcats.  Over 2 levels this season, Joseph has recorded 85 strikeouts in 48.2 innings pitched.

On rehab assignment, Homer Bailey allowed 3 runs on 4 hits and a walk in 4 innings pitched.  He struck out 5.
The Dragons offense did not show up as they managed only 3 hits in the game.
Rookie
Yorman Rodriguez, Oliver Santos, and Jefry Sierra went 2-4 with a run scored.  Rodriguez had an RBI, Santos had 2 RBI and a double, while Sierra tacked on an RBI as well.
Daniel Wofford struck out 4 and walked just 1 batter in 2 innings of relief to record his 2nd save of the season.
Kurtis Muller was a perfect 4-4 at the plate with 4 singles and a run scored.  David Vidal had a walk and 2 singles in 4 at-bats. He also drove in 2 RBI.  Samuel Diaz was also 2-4 with 2 singles.
