Logan’s been playing in the Frontier League, awaiting another opportunity in the minors and has recently been named to the Frontier League All Star Team.

First baseman Logan Parker, outfielders Brandon Peters and Jason Patton, catcher Charlie Lisk and pitcher Mark Brackman will represent the West Division in the mid-summer classic to be held at Southern Illinois’ Rent One Park on July 14.

Lisk has been selected the previous three seasons.

Five Gateway Grizzlies made the All Star team for the West team. Manager Phil Warren will be an assistant coach with the West Team as take on the East Division All Stars in Marion Illinois on July 15 at Rent One Ballpark.

“I am very proud of the players,” said Grizzlies manager Phil Warren. “They are deserving of this opportunity and I know they will represent the Grizzlies and the West Division accordingly.”

“Brandon Peters, Jason Patton, Logan Parker and Charlie Lisk are all an integral part of the Grizzlies offense,” continued Warren. “Each have put together outstanding offensive numbers to this point in the season. I look forward to watching them finish the season strong at the plate.”

Heading into Tuesday’s contest, all four offensive players sit one through four in batting average on the Grizzlies statistics sheet. Patton leads the way hitting .326 with five home runs and 33 RBIs, Peters follows batting .324 with nine home runs and 25 RBIs, Parker’s average is .308 with three home runs and 27 RBIs…
