Chris Denove had 3 singles in 4 at-bats and scored twice.  Yonder Alonso and Michael Griffin each had 2 hits.  Both had a single and a double on the night.  Alonso added 2 RBI, giving him 17 on the season with Louisville.
Matt Maloney picked up the win and improved to 6-3 despite not having his best outing.  Maloney allowed 4 runs on 11 hits and 2 walks while striking out just 1 in 5.1 innings pitched.

Devin Mesoraco went 2-4 with a homerun and 2 RBI.  He also scored twice.  Mike Costanzo made his lone hit a good one.  Costanzo belted his 4th homerun of the season and drove in 3 RBI, all in the 1st inning.
Matt Fairel finally shook off the nerves of pitching in Double-A and picked up his first win with the Mudcats.  Fairel went 5.1 innings, allowing just 1 earned run on 5 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3.  Fairel is now 1-2 with Carolina with a 6.75 ERA in 17.1 innings pitched.  With Lynchburg, Matt was 5-1 with a 3.04 ERA in 56.1 innings pitched.
