Justin Reed, the Reds #4 pick in the 2006 draft has been suspended for 50 games for a 2nd positive drug test.
A Cincinnati Reds minor leaguer has been suspended 50 games after a second positive drug test.
Outfielder Justin Reed was penalized Thursday under the minor league drug program.
Reed is on the roster of the Reds’ affiliate in Billings of the rookie level Pioneer League. The suspension takes effect when the team opens its season on June 21.
Don’t be surprised if the Reds let Reed go. I don’t know why he was on the Billings Roster…maybe they knew this was coming and didn’t want him playing in games for some reason?
