22 year-old Aroldis Chapman made his triumphant return with 5 solid IP, giving up just 3 H, 0 ER and  BB while striking out 7.  Chapman, who last pitched on May 19, now has a 3.55 ERA with 55 Ks, and 25 BB in 46.2 IP.

25 year-old Wladimir Balentien went 2-4 with a 2B, 2 R, and an RBI.  Wladimir is now hitting .241/.300/.431 in 127 PAs.

30 year-old Luis Terroro went 3-4 with a 2B, HR, R and 4 RBI. .340/.340/.696 in 53 PAs since joining Louisville.  Hey Luis, take a pitch now and again!

21 year old Devin Mesoraco continues his incredible hitting going 3-4 with a HR, 2B, R, BB, and 2 RBI.   The 2007 1st round pick is now hitting .335/.414/.620 in 177 PAs.  I remember when he was drafted, I complained very loudly about choosing a high school catcher in the first round.  I am VERY pleased to have been wrong.  That’s only the second time for me! (voting for Ross Perot was the first).

23 year-old Cody Puckett went 2-5 with a BB, a 2B and 2 R.  Puckett, an 8th round pick from 2008, is now hitting .281/.363/.534 in 164 PAs.

22 year-old Josh Fellhauer went 2-6 with a R.  Fellhauer is now hitting .297/.340/.449 in 195 PAs.
