23 year-old Yonder Alonso went 1-4.  Since being promoted to AAA, Alonso, playing left field tonight, is hitting .306/.359/.444 in 41 ABs.

26 year-old Drew Sutton went 1-2 with 2 BB, and an RBI. Sutton is now hitting .246/.328/.351

Carolina 6, Chattanooga 4

23 year-old Dave Sappelt went 2 for 3 with an RBI and a BB.  Since being promoted to Chattanooga Carolina, Sappelt is tearing the cover off the ball, hitting .369/.382/.516 in 66 ABs.

24 year-old Sean Henry went 0-2 with a R and 2 BB.   Henry, from THE Diablo Valley College, is now hitting .331/.392/.504

22 year old Jose Gualdron went 3-4 with a 2B and an RBI.  Gualdron, the right handed hitting Venezualan, is now hitting .298/.310/.421 with a whopping 1 walk in 58 ABs.

22 year-old Alex Buchholz went 2-4 with a 2B, R, and 3 RBI.  Buchholtz is now hitting .284/.331/.390.  He has been really hot of late; in his last 10 games, he is hitting .378/.410/.568.

22 year-old Matt Fairel pitched 7 strong innings, giving up just 2 runs on 4 H and a BB.  Fairel lowered his ERA to 3.47 ERA with 32 Ks in 49 IP.

22 year-old hurler Chase Ware tossed 3 solid innings, giving up 0 R, 0 BB, and 3 H with 4 Ks.  The 6’6″, 200 lb right hander lowered his ERA to 1.95 with 26 Ks in 32 IP.

22 year-old Josh Garton continued his hot hitting, going 2-4 with a 2B.  Garton is now hitting .275/.340/.625 in 53 ABs.
