Batter of the Month

The Minor League Batter of the Month was a unanimous vote amongst our editors.  Devin Mesoraco hit .297/.378/.594 in the month of April with 5 homeruns and 14 runs batted in for the Lynchburg Hillcats.  In 64 at-bats, Devin tallied 19 hits, 4 doubles, walked 6 times, and struck out 8 times.  He scored 10 runs.

Pitcher of the Month

Bradley Boxberger received a majority of the votes for the pitcher of the month.  Boxberger went 2-1 with a 1.89 ERA in 4 starts for the Hillcats.  Bradley struck out 24 batters compared to walking just 6 in 19 innings pitched.  Opponents hit just .185 against Bradley in April

    Boxberger, that “other” high draft pick pitcher, good to see him pitching well.
