I was at the Mobile-Carolina game last night and a few quick observations. Alonso must still be hurting from his wall collision or aggravated something the night before because he was the only position player not to play. They even called the catcher from the bullpen to pinch hit in the 9th. Phipps was the lone impressive offensive player that was in the field last night. Take the 5 runs with a grain of salt Mobile committed 6 errors in that game and they were ugly errors. If you think Cincinnati’s offense stinks you haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen Carolina in action.
