Columbus 6 – Louisville 4; final 7; Game 1
Danny Dorn hit his 4th homerun of the season and went 2-3 for the Bats in the losing effort.  Dorn continues his hot start and is now batting .323/.425/.771 in the first 11 games of the season. Zack Cozart was also 2-3 in the game. Cozart doubled, drove in a run, and scored a run. Chris Heisey went 1-3 and hit his 2nd homerun of the season.
Justin Lehr went 5 innings, allowing 5 runs on 9 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3. Lehr is now 0-2 with a 7.20 ERA.
Columbus 3 – Louisville 0; final 7; Game 2
Chris Heisey, Danny Dorn, and Zack Cozart had 2 hits each. Dorn had a double while the rest of the hits were all singles. Chris Burke also went 2-4 with 2 singles.ÂÂ
Chad Reineke  made the start and allowed 3 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks while striking out 2 in 4 innings of work.

A nice comeback by the Mudcats who trailed 5-1 early on and trailed 7-5 heading to the 9th inning but still managed a late rally for the win. Yonder Alonso went 3-5 with a homerun, double, 2 rbis, and 2 runs scored. Sean Henry went 3-4 with 3 singles while Brandon Yarbrough went 3-4 with a double and a run scored. Eric Eymann added a double and single in 5 at-bats while Jose Castro had just 1 hit but drove in 3 rbis.
High A
Neftali Soto and Cody Puckett had 3 hits each and a double while Alex Buchholz, Devin Mesoraco, and Kyle Day each put up 2 hits. Mesoraco and Day both homered in the game. It was Mesoraco’s 2nd of the season while Day’s blast was his first of the season.

Dayton 3 – South Bend 2; final 11
With a 3-6 game, Andrew Means bumped his stats to .347/.370/.408 on the season. Along with the 3 singles, Means also scored a run and drove in a run. Chris Richburg and Kevin Coddington each went 2-4.ÂÂ
Doug Salinas had a nice relief outing in the win. Salinas pitched 4 scoreless innings, allowing 4 hits while striking out 5. Salinas has allowed only 1 earned run in 10.2 innings pitched this season.
