The Louisville Courier-Journal has posted a preview of the 2010 Louisville Bats (the AAA farm team of the Reds, of course). There’s no big surprise: Bats manager Rick Sweet says that the Bats’ strength will be their starting pitching.

The newspaper also mentions that it’s anticipated that Aroldis Chapman will make his “home” debut against Columbus on April 16. The Courier-Journal also says that Chapman is expected to make his AAA debut against Toledo on Sunday, the 11th. The paper says Chapman will be limited to 65-70 pitches in his first game.

Sam LeCure is expected to be the Bats opening day starter.
