From the OA website (Odessa American):

At the crack of the bat, a sharp grounder to the hole on the right side, Logan Parker moved quickly to his right, made the pickup in mid-stride and rifled a throw to second for the out.

The return throw from the shortstop failed to complete the double play.

But Parker had already done his part. A first baseman bent on building an all-around game, Parker is hoping to bring a defensive presence to the minor leagues this season.

No matter what position he plays.

“Anything to stay in the lineup, really,” Parker said. “You can’t move up levels, and you can’t advance as a hitter if somebody else is playing first, especially in the National League, where there’s no designated hitter.”

Not a lot of new info, but always good when one of our guys gets good press.
