I just received my copy of “The Machine,” Joe Posnanski’s new book about the 1975 Cincinnati Reds.
I cannot wait to dig into the book. Posnanski is, for my money, the best sportswriter in the country. He is the author of my favorite baseball book, “The Soul of Baseball,” which you really must read if you haven’t already, and he writes for SI now (not to mention his always-entertaining blog).
Anyone else pre-order the book?
