Congratulations go out to Bronson Arroyo, the Redleg Nation Player of the Month for August.
During July, I doubt many of us would have predicted that Arroyo would be in the running for August’s POTM honors. Well, in 6 starts, all Bronson did was put up a 1.99 ERA over 45.1 innings (which led the team). Though his record was only 1.99, Arroyo did toss a complete game shutout, and had a K/BB ratio of 18/8.
