— Taveras is an awful defensive outfielder, and probably gave himself a concussion with another of his patented run-into-the-wall-as-the-ball-bounces-past-for-a-triple.
— Cueto left the game with a hip injury.
— Scott Rolen is still hurt.
MISC
— The Cards magic number over the Reds is 37.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see them eliminated by Labor Day.
