    Great story, well worth the read.

    One of the fun things about going to minor league games is running across players you have not thought about in years that unexepectedly turn up as coaches. Saw a Tony Tarrasco a few years ago coaching first base and yelled out him I still had his Stratomatic card. He really did not know what to make of that.

    When my buddy was in the Sally League, his team’s pitching coach was Sid Monge, who I remembered from some old baseball cards (and quite a ‘fro). He was reportedly less than beloved. He’s still coaching, btw.
