I’m not sure if we’ve mentioned this, but Amy, Mr. Redlegs, and some of the old gang from Rosecrans’ comment threads have set up shop as Red Letter Daze, on the Cincinnati.com forum platform.  They mostly do high quality in-game discussion, but there’s some other fun stuff too.
Namely, this:  A fantasy off-day game thread, pitting the 1995 Reds vs. 1999 Reds.  I’ll let Mr. Redlegs explain:
RedScoop did several of these fictional games last year on TheLotD.com and they were fun, popular and wacky things to follow during the day. Sometimes the news was real, most times it was make-believe, and if you’re not careful, you might find yourself written into the storyline.
Either way, pre-game lineups, notes and news precede the 2:25 p.m. *game* start. An inning-by-inning recap of the fictional game and storylines throughout the day will allow you to follow and/or post at your own pace.ÂÂ
