Louisville 7 – Pawtucket 5

Norris Hopper went 3-5 for the Bats with a double, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.  Hopper is now batting .310 on the season.  Drew Stubbs went 2-4 with a double and an rbi.  Stubbs is now batting .316/.403/.451. 

Adam Pettyjohn picked up his first win of the season by allowing 2 runs on 9 hits in 6.1 innings pitched.  Pettyjohn struck out 3 to improve his record to 1-5.

Double – A

Carolina 5 – Montgomery 4

Zach Cozart had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with a double and a run scored.  Juan Francisco and Todd Frazier had 2 hits each and both drove in 2 rbis. 

Logan Ondrusek picked up his first win for the Mudcats.  Ondrusek still has a perfect ERA in 5.2 double-A innings.  While in Sarasota, Logan had allowed 2 earned runs in 18.2 innings pitched.  So in 24.1 innings of work this season, Ondrusek has allowed just 2 earned runs.

Class A Advanced

Dunedin 10 – Sarasota 3; final 6

Carson Kainer went 2-3 with a double and Justin Tordi went 2-2 at the plate for the Reds.

Luis Montano allowed 6 runs on 3 hits and 5 walks in 2.2 innings pitched.

Single – A

Wisconsin 7 – Dayton 2

Cody Puckett had 3 of the Dragons’ 6 hits to supply most of the offense for the club in the loss.  One of his three hits was a triple and he also scored a run.

Lance Janke fell to 1-2 with the loss, but wasn’t helped by 3 Dragons errors.  Janke allowed 6 runs (3 earned) on 7 hits and 1 walk in 5.1 innings pitched.  Janke struck out 8 but did allow 3 homeruns.
