As Bill and I discussed in the latest Redleg Nation Radio podcast, there are very few spots still up for grabs at this point in Reds camp.
Micah Owings is doing some great work as he fights for that fifth spot in the rotation. His latest outing: four shutout innings with one hit, one walk and six strikeouts.

Jonny Gomes is also making a strong push for a roster spot, possibly as a platoon partner for Chris Dickerson in left field. I really hope Gomes makes the team, and I hope Dusty will platoon those two guys. They could put up some pretty good numbers if they are placed in the right situation.
