Good question Chad Dotson 12/12/2008 4 What is going to happen in the Reds bullpen? Share this:TweetPocket 4 Responses Y-City Jim 12/12/2008 It seems to me that if Bailey’s mechanics are to be worked on by the Reds best expert (Dick Pole) then he should be working out of the Cincinnati bullpen. Obviously Ted Power isn’t getting it done for whatever reason though I guess you could argue he got it done for the playoff win. I wonder if there is video of that game of Bailey’s to see if there are any differences in the mechanics? brublejr 12/13/2008 I see Owings in the rotation and Ramirez to L’ville. Masset will win the long relief job, and Roenicke will be brought up in place of any injuries or when Weathers/Rhodes get traded at the deadline. I like the idea of Homer going to the pen if he can’t cut it as a starter. He could be a good closer in a couple of years. Majewski and Belisle were non-tendered so thankfully they are out of the equation. Brian 12/13/2008 Just a side note on the bullpen I really like the signing of Arthur Rhodes not only cause they needed another lefty but because as soon as he officially signs he heads over to redsfest and is laughing and having a good time with BPhillips and others. Just shows you that there are quality arms that want to be here and play in cincinnati. Love it. pinson343 12/13/2008 Comments on the above: Y-City Jim, I just commented on another thread about Homer’s playoff game for the Bats. Yes I’d like to see a video of that. I agreee that Ramirez will probably be sent down to Louisville, but right now he’s probably the no. 6 starter in the organization, so he won’t be there long. Good for Rhodes, I’m glad we have him.
