Happy Thanksgiving, all!

So, let’s hear it: what do Reds fans have to be thankful about this year?

UPDATED: As WKRP’s Arthur Carlson would say, “As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!!!”

Also, Eric Milton isn’t a Red, and Marge Schott isn’t our owner.

That Patterson and Bako are gone, and that Willy Tavares isn’t here (at least yet).

That there’s an MLB team in Cincinnati. I don’t think the town could draw a club if the Reds weren’t already in town.

Speed and veteran presence….wait, that was last year. How did that turn out, anyway?

I’m grateful for a decent rotation. It’s been a long time in coming.

I am also grateful for redlegnation. It’s a fun place. Even when we disagree. Thanks a lot for keeping it running.

thankful for family that understands why I need the mlb package, a team that whatever its other problems are is still worth rooting for, and a great group of fans that are willing to be patient with those of us that do not get to see the team every day.

Thanks everyone who keeps this place up and running and worth visiting.

    According to MLBTradeRumors:

“The Astros are targeting Paul Bako and David Ross as backup catchers.”

Bako actually drawing some interest on the market, apparently.
