The Reds and Cubs will go at it tonight in front of a sellout crowd at Great American Ballpark.

What’s that, you say? A sellout? Yep, it’s true, but don’t watch it on television; the stadium will be full of blue shirts.

Since you can’t get tickets for tonight, spend the evening here, discussing the game.

Of course Corey Patterson had to get back in on the action today…UGH. I don’t know if I’ll watch today. I want to see Cueto but I can’t handle hearing the Cubs fans booing when stuff goes our way. It’s so aggravating.

Hope the Reds can overcome the great odds against them. I mean having Corey Patterson and Paul Bako in your line-up with a home stadium half-filled with the other teams fans that’s quite an obstacle.

The fact that Dusty continues to play Patterson and Bako says to me that those two are still in the Reds plans for next year.

Bruce walks on four pitches. Anyone batting in front of Bako, Patterson, and the pitcher should feel lucky to see any pitch within two feet of the plate.

I’m glad that CP is playing today. He needs to make a couple of outs in order to get back under .200!

Good god – listening to the radio, it would be very believable if someone told me that this was being played in Chicago. Every Reds hit is greeted with silence, and Soriano just made a sliding catch that was roundly cheered.

I wish there would be a movement by Reds fans to make the Cubs series their series of choice for games next year. It is an insult for your team to have games sold out to the fans of the opposing team.

Louisville is getting no-hit through 6 innings of their playoff game #3 tonight.

For me I make it a point to not go to any games against the Cubs. I got temper issues and I know if I go or not they’ll still be stacked at least until the Cubs have an off year. I hope the Brew Crew can catch them. If they can’t, I hope Arizona sweeps their ass again.

Was nice to hear Welsch rip on Cubs fans a bit. Cueto looked OK…still not sure HOW Soriano was still being pitched to after the second homer. I don’t care the situation, stick it in his ribs.

The population of Las Vegas was 30 the last time the Cubs won the series. HAHA. I love it!

Bats finally get a couple of hits and score on an Anderson HR. Trail Durham 3-1 in the 8th inning.

Jeez. The ovation for Marquis was louder than it would have been at Wrigley.

It’s not getting interesting, George. We’re still down by 6 and this is not the 2005 Reds.

Man! They must have been playing Bako extremely shallow.

Ha ha – now that many of the Cubs fans have left the park, the Reds are getting cheered again – it’s getting close now, only down 11-5 in the 8th! 😕

I get tired of BP always getting the Hot Dog Play of the Game. I have seen game where another defender made a better play but the give it to BP.

Bako with decent speed for a 36-year-old catcher.

I hope Harang has a good outing tomorrow. Better yet, I hope he is outstanding tomorrow.

Here’s an idea for Castellini to get more Reds fans at Cub series. Sell specially priced ticket packages that include a game for some other team and a Cubs game for one special price.

Too bad Lincoln stunk up the top of the inning.

Jolbert Cabrera…pinch hit grand slam? Huh?

Jolbert Cabrera…pinch hit grand slam? Huh?

and the Cubs think they are going to the World Series?

Wonder where Valentin will play next year because it won’t be in Cincinnati.

FYI-Dusty Baker only has a .487 (385-404) winning percentage since leaving San Francisco.
