Columbus 7 – Louisville 6

Adam Rosales and Kevin Barker each had 3 hits inluding a homerun.  Rosales scored 2 runs and drove in two while Barker had 1 run and 1 rbi.  Adam’s homerun was his 11th while Kevin’s was his 17th.

Homer Bailey started and allowed 4 runs on 9 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings pitched.  He struck out 4.

Jacksonville 5 – Chattanooga 4; final 10

Eric Eymann and Justin Turner each went 2-5 with a double.  It was Eymann’s 26th double of the season.  Eric also drove in 2 rbis, giving him 62 on the season.

Sean Watson picked up the loss by giving up a run in the 10th inning.  Watson gave up 1 run on 1 hit, 1 walk, and struck out 1 in 2 innings of work.

Dayton 4 – Great Lakes 1

Neftali Soto went 2-4 with a double and 2 rbis while Devin Mesoraco hit his 9th homerun of the season.

Curtis Partch improved to 5-9 by pitching 6 scoreless innings.  Partch scattered 3 hits and struck out 3.

Idaho Falls 19 – Billings 5

Byron Wiley went 3-5, with all 3 hits being doubles. Wiley also had 3 rbis, giving him 31 on the season.  Tony Brown and David Sappelt each went 2-5 in the game.  Sappelt had a double and a triple, while Brown had 2 doubles.  The Mustangs ended up with 10 hits, 8 of which went for extra bases, and they were still hammered.

GCL Orioles 13 – GCL Reds 2

The Reds were blown out in this one, trailing 9-0 after two innings.  The only bright spot was Frank Pfister’s 2-4 game.
