Louisville 3 – Columbus 0

Bobby Livingston improved to 2-2 by pitching 7 scoreless innings.  Livingston scattered 5 hits and walked 2 while striking out 6.

Craig Tatum had an RBI in his first game for Louisville as he went 1-3 in the game.  Drew Anderson went 1-4 and drove in RBI number 62 on the season.

Tennessee 9 – Chattanooga 7

Chris Valaika went 4-5 with a homerun, 2 doubles, a run scored, and 5 runs batted in.  Tonys Gutierrez went 3-4 with a double, 2 runs scored, and 2 rbis.

Camilo Vazquez had 1 bad inning.  Vazquez couldn’t get through the 5th inning where he gave up 6 runs.  In all, Vazquez went 4.1 innings, allowing 6 runs on 6 hits and 5 walks while striking out 5.

Sarasota 11 – Fort Myers 10; final 10

The Reds trailed this game 10-1 after 2 1/2 innings, but came back to win in extras.  Justin Tordi 2-4 with 2 doubles, a run scored, and 3 rbis.  Logan Parker also had 3 rbis, going 2-4 in the game.  Chris Heisey joined in as well, adding 3 rbis of his own in a 2-4 night.  Juan Francisco also hit his 20th homerun of the year.

Unfortunately for us at Redleg Nation, the 10 runs scored by Fort Myers were all off of Matt Klinker.  Klinker gave up 10 runs on 11 hits and a walk in 3.2 innings pitched.

Lansing 5 – Dayton 4

The Dragons had a 4-0 lead after 5 but could not hold on.  Brandon Waring and Brandon Menchacha each had 2 rbis.

Jeremy Horst got the start and pitched 5 scoreless innings, giving up just 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 6.

Idaho Falls 5 – Billings 3

Jose Gualdron went 2-3 while Cody Puckett added an rbi in a 1-3 game.

Starter Oscar Castro went 5.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks.  Castro struck out 5 and now has an ERA of 4.65.

GCL Twins 6 – GCL Reds 4

The Reds scored all 4 runs in the first inning.  Samuel Vasquez had 2 rbis and a double.  The double was his only hit of the game.

Evan Hildenbrandt went 4 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits and a walk while striking out 6.
