June 18, 1977: Tom Seaver pitches a three hit shutout in his debut with Cincinnati, leading the Reds to a 6-0 win over the Expos in Montreal.

The win pulled the Reds to a 34-27 record, 6 1/2 games behind the Dodgers. Cincinnati would g et no closer to first, however during the ’77 season. Seaver was 14-3 with aa 2.35 ERA during the year. He was 7-3 with the Mets for a 21-6 record overall.
