Camilo Vazquez made his first start at Double A after spending time in Sarasota and with Louisville. Vazquez gave up 1 run on 4 hits, a walk, and struck out 5 in 5 innings of work. He is overall 5-3 on the season with a 4.55 ERA in 57.1 minor league innings.

The Mustangs remain perfect in their new ballpark, improving to 2-0! Brett Bartles went 3-4 with a double, run scored, and 2 rbis while Neftali Soto went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a runs scored. Soto was batting .364/.397/.745 in 55 at-bats coming into this game.
Justin Freeman picked up the win in relief. Freeman pitched 4 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits and a walk while striking out 3.
