Louisville 8 – Rochester 0

Most of the offense for the Bats in this one was provided by Adam Rosales.  Adam went 2-4 with 2 homeruns, 2 runs scored, and 5 runs batted in.   The 2 homeruns doubled Adam’s total for the season.  Chris Dickerson and Jerry Hairston, Jr. each went 2-4 with a double and a run scored.

South Bend 7 – Dayton 5

Had Dayton not scored 4 runs in the 8th inning, this game would have been a blowout.  Zach Cozart went 2-5 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored for the Dragons.  Brandon Waring went 1-2 with a homerun, 2 rbis, and 2 walks.  Waring is getting his OBP up a little with a few walks the last two days.  Waring is now batting .281/.362/.512 with 15 homeruns.

Game 2 was a litle more positive for the Reds.  Donald Lutz went 3-4 with 2 doubles, 3 runs scored, and 4 rbis.  Sean Conner went 2-3 with 3 runs scored and a homerun.  The homerun was Conner’s first of the season, a 3-run job in the first.  Finally, Yen-Wen Kuo went 2-5 with a double and run scored.

Michael Henry picked up the win in relief.  Henry allowed 2 unearned runs on 2 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings pitched.  It was Henry’s first decision of the season.
