Toledo 7 – Louisville 2

Corey Patterson went 3-5 in his last game at AAA before being recalled back to Cincinnati.  He was hitting a whopping .409 in Louisville.  I don’t see that continuing when he returns to the Reds.

Matt Maloney dropped to 6-3 with the loss.  Matt gave up 6 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings pitched.  He struck out 8.

Huntsville 15 – Chattanooga 10

This was a slugfest.  Chris Valiaka went 3-4 with a double, run scored, and an rbi.  Justin Turner went 2-2 with 2 doubles, 2 walks, a run scored and 3 rbis.  Eric Eymann added 3 hits in 6 at-bats, raising his average to .297.  He is 7-10 in his last 2 games.

The pitching was terrible, allowing 15 runs on 21 hits.

Sarasota 10 – Lakeland 8

Dan Perales went 3-5 with a double, triple, run scored, and 4 runs batted in.  Juan Francisco went 3-5 with 3 runs scored.  Eddy Rodriguez and Jacob Kahaulelio each had 2 hits and scored 2 runs.  Rodriguez’s two hits were doubles.

Aguido Gonzalez picked up the win in relief.  Gonzalez allowed 1 unearned run on 1 hit and 2 walks in 2 innings pitched.  This was Aguido’s first win of the season in only his 2nd game.

Central Michigan 5 – Dayton 2

Zach Cozart had a 2-run homerun and accounted for 1 of the Dragons 4 hits.

Tyler Rhoden pitched 2 scoreless innings in relief.
