Louisville 6 – Columbus 3

Jolbert Cabrera had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with a double and 2 rbis.  Cabrera is now batting .286/.344/.451.  Chris Dickerson went 2-5 for the Bats, adding a triple, run scored, and an rbi. 

Matt Maloney improved to 6-2 on the season by going 7 innings, surrendering 2 runs on 4 hits, 3 walks, and striking out 5.  Danny Herrera picked up his 3rd save by pitching a scoreless 1.2 innings.  Herrera’s ERA is now 0.98 in 18.1 innings pitched for Louisville.

Chattanooga 4 – Montgomery 2

Tonys Gutierrez went 2-3, scored 2 runs, had a double, and hit his 3rd homerun of the season.  Tonys is now batting .337/.456/.464 this season.  Chris Valaika helped the Lookouts effort by driving in 2 rbis.

James Avery improved to 2-2 on the season with the win.  Avery gave up 2 runs on 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out 5.

Fort Myers 5 – Sarasota 1

Jason Louwsma accounted for 2 of the Reds 5 hits in the game.  Louwsma went 2-3 with a walk. 

Enerio Del Rosario made his first start in Sarasota since being called up from Dayton and struggled.  Del Rosario gave up 5 runs on 9 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings pitched.  In Dayton, Enerio was 2-2 with a 1.59 ERA in 45.1 innings pitched. 

Fort Wayne 8 – Dayton 3

Brandon Waring went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a run scored.  Waring has struggled somewhat this month, seeing his numbers dip to .278/.351/.506 on the season.  Devin Mesoraco on the other hand is slowly seeing his numbers rise.  Devin went 3-4 in this game with a run scored.  Mesoraco is now batting .283/.348/.450 on the season. 

Not much to mention on the pitching side other than Jamie Arneson picked up the loss.
