How about this? From John Fay:
Jeff Keppinger is walking without a limp and no real pain.
“It feels good,” Keppinger said. “It’s good to be able to walk. I don’t have any pain, just a little discomfort.”
Keppinger suffered a broken left knee cap May 14. He was expected to miss four to six weeks. He’s been hitting for a week. He hopes to get cleared to start running tonight when he says the doctor. Sounds to me like four weeks in reasonable.
Be nice to get Keppinger back in a month. Hopper has to be ready soon, hopefully that’ll spell the end of the Patterson era. Then Keppinger for who? A catcher? Which one?
