July 13, 1954: Ted Kluszewski and Gus Bell hit home runs in the All-Star game, leading the NL to an 11-9 win at Municipal Stadium in Cleveland. Kluszewski also had a single hin his four ABs. Bells’ homer came in a pinch hit role in the 8th inning.

The home runs were the first two hit by the Reds players in an All Star game.
