May 1, 1985: Larry Starr, the Reds trainer, is ejected from the dugout during a rain-delayed game at Riverfront, won by the Braves 17-9.

The game was delayed for 2 hours and 41 minutes in the top of the 5th inning by rain. Starr was ejected for questioning the wisdom of the umpires over the decision to continue play in the inclement conditions. Altanta collected 25 hits on the way to their route of the Reds.
