100 year old DH Mark Bellhorn provided the Bats only scoring with a HR. Jay Bruce went 0-2 with a walk.

26 year old RHP Phil Dumatrait threw 7 innings of 4 hit, one run baseball, striking out 4. His ERA is 3.52 and his WHIP is 1.38.

The “National Two” pitched a scoreless 8th (Majewski, one hit allowed) and 9th (Bray).

Correction: As has been pointed out in the comments, I had this backware…Bray pitched the 8th and got the win allowing one hit, and Majewski pitched the 9th and got the save.

Huntsville 1- Chattanooga 0

24 year old 1B Adam Rosales was 2-3 hitting in the leadoff spot. (.275/.326/.425 since being promoted).

26 year old RHP Steve Kelly threw 5 innings of 4 hit shutout baseball in his first start since being sent back to Chattanooga. 25 year old RHP Carlos Guevara threw a perfect 9th, striking out the side. In his last 6 outings, he’s pitched 7 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 5 hits, walked 1 and struck out 13.

Dayton 3 – Clinton 2

21 year old OF Denis Phipps hit a walk off 3 run homer to win it for the Dragons. In his last 11 games, he has 3 homers and 19 RBIs. (.240/.307/.351)

Newly acquired 21 year old LHP Alexander Smit threw 3 shutout innings in his first start for the Dragons. He walked the first hitter he faced, and surrendered no hits. 23 year old RHP Ramon Geronimo picked up the win in relief, throwing 1 1/3 perfect innings, with 4 strikeouts.

The Mustangs scored 6 runs in the 9th inning on 2 three run homers. The first was by 22 year old 1B Michael McKennon (.350/.393/.612) and the walk off power was provided by 22 year old CF Brandon Manchanca (.243/.333/.467).

20 year old RHP Curtis Partch threw 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. He did give up 2 hits and walk 2 though.
