Joey Votto went 0-3 in the All-Star bash with 2 strikeouts.
Phil Dumatrait saw some action in relief and pitched .2 perfect innings.

Huntsville 8 – Chattanooga 2

1B Adam Rosales bumped his average up to .277 thanks to a 2-4 night. Rosales added a double, his 5th of the season. Jay Bruce also added 2 hits, going 2-5 on the night with 2 strikeouts.

Sam Lecure dropped to 4-2 on the season with the Lookouts in the loss. Sam went 4 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits, 4 walks, and 2 homeruns. Lecure struck out 3.

Sarastoa 4 – Brevard County 1

25 year old catcher Chris Kroski went 1-4 on the night. His lone hit was a 3-run homerun in the 2nd inning. Kroski is putting up decent numbers for the Reds this season. In 44 games, Kroski is batting .290/.381/.457.

Ben Jukich picked up his 2nd win of the season by going 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits, 4 walks, and 6 strikeouts. Redleg Nation Spotlight Player Thomas Pauly pitched great in relief last night. GCL Twins 3 – GCL Reds 1

20 year old SS Kevyn Feiner went 3-4 with a double. Feiner was the Reds 18th round draft pick in the 2005 draft. 21 year old OF Jose Bastardo went 2-3 with a triple, homerun, run scored, and an rbi.

Jamie Arneson picked up the hard luck loss to drop to 2-3 on the season. Arneson gave up 1 unearned run and that was it. He also gave up 5 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings. Josh Beal continues to be perfect in 4 games this season. Beal has pitched 5.1 scoreless innings in relief with 8 strikeouts.

Billings 9 – Orem 3

21 year old catcher Jason Bour hit his 1st homerun of the season for the Mustangs, going 2-4 with a run scored and 3 runs batted in. Michael McKennon hit his 2nd homer of the year in a 1-4 night for the 1b. McKennon scored a run and drove in 3 as well. 3b Brandon Waring also belted a homer last night. For Waring, that is his 4th of the season. Waring went 2-3 with 3 runs scored, a double, and an rbi.

Jeremy Horst picked up the win in relief with a nice outing. Horst pitched 4 innings, allowing just 1 hit while striking out 5.
