29 year-old Dewayne Wise (Reds #5 – 1997) hit 2 HR, 2 RBI, and a BB. He is hitting .328/.379/.639

Chattanooga 7, Carolina 2

24 year-old Drew Anderson (Reds #13 – 2004) went 2 for 5 with a HR and 3 RBI. After hitting just 3 for his last 37, he moved from the leadoff spot to sixth in the order, and it apparently worked. He is now hitting .211/.265/.342

22 year-olod Sam LeCure (Reds #4 – 2005) pitched 5 innings giving up 6 H, 4 BB, and 2 ER. LeCure, who picked up his 2nd win, also struck out 4. He has a 2.37 ERA with 20 H, 14 BB, and 19 Ks in 19 IP. Those peripherals are horrific compared to his ERA.

Lakeland 7, Sarasota 5

23 year-old Adam Rosales (Reds #12 – 2005) went 2 for 3 with a HR, and 2 RBI. Rosales, still playing first base this year is hitting .259/.397/.448

Jay Bruce sat out.

Dayton 5, Burlington 2

19 year-old 3B Juan Francisco went 3 for 4 with a solo HR. Francisco from the Dominican Republic is hitting .333/.364/.540.

21 year-old RF Denis Phipps went 1 for 3 with a BB. Phipps, also from the Dominican, is hitting .339/.391/.441

22 year-old first baseman (and Redleg Nation Spotlight Player) Logan Parker (Reds #12 – 2006) went 1 for 3 with a BB. Parker now has a 8 game hit streak, and has reached bas 18 times in his last 41 Plate appearances. Despite his pedestrian .244 BA, Logan has an impressive .415 OBA. This is why DOTF is such a big fan (plus he talks to us).
