John Fay and Trent Rosencrans have the pertinent information on the upcoming sale (or non-sale) of Opening Day tickets for the Reds. Suffice to say that I’m not impressed.

I’ve been to the last three Opening Days, but that streak may be in jeopardy.

UPDATE: Here’s the official Reds release:

This Saturday is the last chance to guarantee an Opening Day ticket when purchasing a season-ticket plan. From 9 a.m.-1 p.m. ET, fans can come to Great American Ball Park to select their seats. Fans that purchase a season-ticket plan will also receive two free vouchers to the Reds’ Hall of Fame and Museum. Fans can also purchase season tickets on this day at reds.com.

The next chance at Opening Day tickets will come through the “Power Pack Sale” on Saturday, March 3, and exclusively on reds.com. Fans can purchase 11-game ticket packages that include the first three games of the season, all five fireworks nights and the June 8-10 Interleague series against the Indians.

“Power Pack” ticket prices range from $92-$257 per ticket package. Online service charges also apply.
