DAYTON, OH- The “Dragons Locker Room,†an off-season look at the Miami Valley’s Team debuts Wednesday night, November 15th from 5 PM to 6 PM on 1410 ESPN Radio WING AM. The “Locker Room†will keep Dragons fan up to date on the Miami Valley’s Team during the off season, focusing on former and future Dragons players and personal and getting baseball fans ready for the 2007 Midwest League season.
The “voice of the Dragons†Mike Vander Wood and 1410 ESPN Program Director Mark Neal will co-host the show, which will air every week leading up to the Dragons 2007 season opener, Thursday, April 5th, versus the defending Midwest League Champion West Michigan Whitecaps at Fifth Third Field.
“This will hopefully be an outlet for baseball fans, Dragons and Reds fans in particular, to be able to talk baseball all year round,†said Vander Wood. “It’s a great opportunity to look at past and future Dragons players and get some insight from those players and Reds front office personal as well, to set up another exciting season of Dragons Baseball.â€Â
“This gives 1410 ESPN Radio the ability to enhance our Dragons coverage to year around,†said Neal. “It’s a great addition to our local programming like “NACSAR Now†and our coverage of Ohio State Football and Basketball, as well as our great ESPN Programming.â€Â
