Ouch. The Tigers are beating the devil out of Oakland in the ALCS, on the A’s home turf.

I’m a bit surprised.

    He wasn’t really a fluke. He keeps getting his team to the playoffs. Nobody really sits around and calls John Schuerholz (sp?) a fluke despite the Braves rarely getting out of the first round in his tenure. Beane’s problem isn’t that he’s a fluke but that the book crowned him the genius of MLB which immediately made him the second most scrutinized GM in all of baseball (I’d say Cashman is probably first).
