AA

Huntsville 2, Chattanooga 0

20 year-old Homer Bailey (Reds #1 – 2005) went 6 innings giving up just 5 H, 1 ER, and 3 BB while striking out 3.  Bailey took the loss, but it is very encouraging to see that he bounced back from that last outing.

Rookie

Billings 6, Great Falls 5 10 innings

Billings played 16 non-pitchers in this game and nobody really deserved a mention despite scoring 6 runs.  18 year-old Josh Ravin (Reds #5 – 2006) easily pitched his best game of the year going 5 innings giving up just 2 H, 2 BB while striking out 6.  His ERA this year at the GCL Reds was unimpressive, but his peripherals are very interesting.
