Fox Sports has this list of the top fifty most memorable baseball plays ever. What do you think?

I’ll tell you what I think: it’s pathetic. Fox Sports evidently didn’t realize that they played baseball before 1975, since they barely paid attention to anything that happened before then. You guys could come up with a better list in about fifteen minutes.

Yet another example that FoxSports and ESPN make the news reflect whatever agenda they have without actually having to pay attention to anything.

Personally, my favorite play ever is Tim Wakefield striking out Frank Thomas with a sidearm knuckleball. It was the first time he ever unveiled it I believe, and Thomas was actually laughing at how ridiculous the pitch was…probably because he missed it by a few feet for third third K of the afternoon. Wakefield was also laughing, hiding his face behind his glove.
