Tyler Pelland was the loser thanks to no run support from his offensive teammates. Pelland went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits, 3 walks, and 2 strikeouts. Tyler fell to 5-3 on the year with the loss.

Ryan Hannigan and Gary Patchett each had two hits for the Lookouts on the night. Both guys had 2 singles.

High A

Sarasota 6, Dunedin 2

Sarasota took game one of the double-header thanks to the postponement of last night’s game. Drew Anderson went 3-4 with 2 runs scored to raise his average to an even .300 on the season.

Paul Wilson got the start and put together a nice outting. Wilson went 6, allowing 2 runs on 9 hits, 1 walk, while striking out 1.

Sarasota 0, Dunedin 2

Sam Lecure pitched 5 scoreless innings, scattering 4 hits while striking out 3 and walking 2. Abe Woody got the loss when he gave up 2 runs on 3 hits and a walk in the 6th inning.

Low A

Dayton and South Bend were postponed

GCL Reds 5, GCL Red Sox 14

Jarred Leach threw 1.1 innings in relief, gave up 6 runs on 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 1. It wasn’t much better for Brandon Alford who went 2.2 innings, gave up 6 runs on 7 hits, struck out 1 while walking 3. Rough night for the GCL Reds bullpen!

Casper 3, Billings 4

Jason Louwsma hit his 1st homerun of the season for the Mustangs in the 2nd inning to help lead Billings to a 1-run victory. Louwsma ended the night going 2-4 with the 1 run scored and 1 run driven in.
