23 year-old Ryan Wagner pitched 1.1 innings giving up 2 H, 0 BB, and 0 ER.  He now has a 6.39 ERA with 23 K, 12 BB, 45 H, and 31 IP.

22 year-old Joey Votto went 3 for 5 with 2 HR, and 3 RBI.  Two homeruns and only 3 RBI?  Boy he’s not very good.  Votto, the 2nd round pick of the 2002 draft, is now hitting .321/.392/.567.

22 year-old Zach Ward pitched 7 innings giving up 3 H, 1 ER, and 1 BB, while striking out 7.  For the season Ward has 66 Ks, 20 BB, and 50 H in 71.2 IP.

23 year-old Adam Rosales, playing in his 3rd game since being demoted to Dayton, went 1 for 3 with a 2B, BB, and 3 R.   After battling injuries he hit .213/.329/.361 at Sarasota so the Reds sent him down to Dayton.
