Noochie Varner got the Lookouts started by driving in 2 runs in the first inning with an rbi single. DeWayne Wise added on a run in the 3rd by belting a solo homerun to make it 3-0. The Lookouts blew the game open when Joey Votto hit a 3-run homer during his 3-5 night at the dish.
Eddy Valdez’s line for the night wound be being 6 innings, 2 hits, 1 walk, and 5 strikeouts. Valdez improved to 3-3 on the year.

The Dragons were able to score 5 runs in the 6th inning to come from behind to take the win. Habelito Hernandez led the charge with a 2 run homer in the 5th. The homerun is Hernandez’s 3rd on the season. Adam Rosales and Bobby Mosby each went 2-4 for the Dragons on the night.
Robert Manuel made an impressive 2nd start of the season despite picking up a no decision. Manuel went 5 innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 run. Manuel didn’t walk a batter and struck out 7. Blake Hendley picked up his 14th save of the season for the Dragons by striking out the side in the 9th.
