Minor League News has announced its top ten stadiums in minor league baseball and has named Fifth Third Field, the home of the Dayton Dragons, as one of the best in baseball.
According to minorleaguenews.com, fan experience, ballpark features and facilities, and attendance figures were the three main guidelines for determining the top ten ranking.
“We’re thrilled that Minor League News would recognize Fifth Third Field as one of the best in baseball,†said Robert Murphy, Dragons team president. “This honor is a tribute to our hard-working staff and the loyal support of our fans that continue to support the Dragons each and every year.â€Â
The complete list of ballparks in the top ten are as follows: Dell Diamond (Round Rock Expressâ€â€Round Rock, TX); First Energy Stadium (Reading Philliesâ€â€Reading, PA); AT&T Bricktown Ballpark (Oklahoma Redhawksâ€â€Oklahoma City, OK); Isotopes Park (Albuquerque Isotopesâ€â€Albuquerque, NM); Hammons Field (Springfield Cardinalsâ€â€Springfield, MO); KeySpan Park (Brooklyn Cyclonesâ€â€Brooklyn, NY); Fifth Third Field (Toledo Mud Hedsâ€â€Toledo, OH); Fifth Third Field (Dayton Dragonsâ€â€Dayton, OH); Banner Island Ballpark (Stockton Portsâ€â€Stockton, CA); and GCS Ballpark (Gateway Grizzliesâ€â€Sauget, IL).
