According to the Enquirer:

(Homer)Bailey and outfielder Brandon Roberts (.283, 14 RBI, 21 steals) made the West team for the Florida State League All-Star game, which is June 17 in Lakeland.

I don’t know if this means anything, but both Bailey and Roberts have no teams listed by them on the search portion of MiLB.com. Being promoted?

I wonder how these teams are decided? Drew Anderson from THE Ohio State is clearly outhitting Roberts. I wonder if there were already too many 2B on the team or something.

A promotion of Bailey or Vasquez would make sense, as there is now a spot available at AA. I’d like to see Bailey promoted. Maybe he’ll have more focus as he gets closer to the majors.

Bailey sure has pitched some awesome games. He has pitched some stinkers too. obviously his good far outweighs his bad.

i’m hoping it’ll be bailey to come up to replace dumatrait, which would mean he might even be considered for a september call-up if he continues to produce.

i wonder if homer will put up numbers like he is now at every level, rather than blowing away lower competition and getting hit more in the higher levels. i could see it with his stuff.

i wouldn’t be that surprised if he put up numbers like he has in sarasota in the majors right now.

When a (barely) 20 year old dominates at High A, that is a very good sign of things to come…barring an injury of course.

What will be interesting, and case in point is Ryan Wagner, is how he does after hitters adjust to him. Stuff will get you through the Teams once, but unless you are Roger Clemens you need more than just stuff to last awhile.
