Tennessee 8, Chattanooga 10

It was an ugly night for the pitchers in Chattanooga, but the hitters feasted. Aaron Herr went 4-5 with 4 singles to lead the Lookouts offensive attack. Herr tacked on 2 runs scored and 3 runs batted in. Eric Crozier also had a huge night. Crozier went 3-4 with a run scored and 4 runs batted in. He hit his 2nd homerun of the season in the 2nd inning with 2 runners on.

High A

Dunedin 9, Sarasota 6

It was not a good night for Homer Bailey. Bailey gave up 5 runs on 6 hits, walking 2, and striking out 4 in 5.1 innings pitched. The night raised Bailey’s ERA to 3.98 on the year.

It was a good night offensively for the Reds who pounded out 14 hits. LF Drew Anderson hit his 3rd homerun of the season, a solo shot in the 3rd inning. Jay Garthwaite also hit a homerun in his 3-5 night. The homerun was Jay’s 4th of the season, also a solo homerun.

Dayton also had an off-day. They begin a 4 game series with Clinton today.
