AAA
Chris Denorfia went 2-3 with a HR, raising his numbers to .356/.433/.525 since his demotion to AAA. 29 year old Earl Snyder also had a good night, going 3-4 with 2 doubles.
Shearn, Burns, Standridge, Venafro, and Chiasson threw 7 shutout innings out of the pen.
Denorfia seems to be trapped at AAA by the Reds roster issues. Baring injuries on the Reds, no matter how well he plays at Louisville, it seems he’ll be there all summer.
AA
Chattanooga 3 – West Tennessee 2
Javier Colina was 2-4 with a double and homer. Phil Dumatrait picked up his first win of the year, going 5 innings, giving up 7 hits, but only 1 run.
High A
John Purdom was 2-3 with a homer. “DOTF” favorite Adam Rosales was the DH again, for, I believe, the second straight day.
Low A
Dayton continued their hot streak, they’ve won 4 in a row and 7 of their last 9 as they’ll attempt to reach .500 tonight.
Johnny Cueto threw a gem for the Dragons, throwing 5 innings of 3 hit, shutout baseball. He gave up no walks, and struck out 8. On the season he has a 3.15 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 20 innings pitched. Blake Hendley picked up his second save in as many outings since being demoted from Sarasota.
Szymanski better get hot quick. He sure is looking like a total flame out at this point.
Hey Adam Rosales!!!Good game
