Marc Lancaster reports that the Reds have made more cuts. None are surprising: Tuffy Rhodes was released, and Homer Bailey, Aaron Holbert, Earl Snyder, and Steve Torrealba have been reassigned to minor league camp.
I’m sorry to see Holbert sent down. I knew his chances were slim, but I would have loved to see him make the team as the 25th man. His story is just fantastic.
Also sent down was one of my personal favorites, Ryan Hanigan. I hope to see him back in some capacity soon.
