Eric Milton picked right back up from where he left off last season by giving up 4 runs on 4 hits and a walk for a loss to the Toronto Blue Jays 6-3. Milton probably didn’t get in the amount of work desired in his debut of the spring as he only made it .2 of an inning. Elizardo Ramirez and Todd Coffey combined for 3 innings of shutout work in relief.

Sorry to continually beat the drum, but Edwin Encarnacion went 1-3 with 2 more rbis to give him 9 for the spring. Felipe Lopez was the only Red with a multiple hit game going 2-3.

In WBC games, Ken Griffey Jr., wearing #3, went 0-2 in the game with a walk. He hit a fly ball to left with 2 on and 2 outs. He also hit a line drive shot but right at secondbase. The broadcasters continually said that Griffey has been swinging the bat well.
