If you missed the collision that resulted in Sean Casey being carted off the field, be sure to watch SportsCenter. If you did see it, you will be glad to hear that Casey appears to be alright:

Casey was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where he underwent a CT scan that came back normal. He was diagnosed with a Grade 2 concussion and will be reevaluated when the team returns to Cincinnati. He will stay with the team this weekend.

His parents, Jim and Joan, were at the game. As Casey lay on the field, Adam Dunn gave them a thumbs-up sign from the field to let them know Casey was awake and talking. He had been unconscious for about 20 seconds after the collision.

Casey went down like a sack of potatoes at the time, and I was worried. Glad to hear that he’s okay.
