3B Mark Schramek, former Reds number 1 draft pick in 2002, went 3-3 with a solo homerun of his own in the 9th.

LF Jeremiah Piepkorn went 3-4 with his team leading 18th homerun in the game. Piepkorn is slugging .507 with 67 runs batted in over a span of 341 At bats. Not bad for a free agent signee last season.
